PHASE 1: COMPLETE!
PHASE 1: Kindergarten addition (green area above)
3-2-16 We were able to hold an exciting ground breaking event! Hundreds of people from our community joined us for a picnic, short program, tour and ground breaking for Phase 2! See the pictures in the slide deck below!
2-25-16 Each room is getting close to completion. The floor is in for 75% of Phase 1, markerboards are being installed, and cabinetry is going in. We will be taking a preliminary walk through next week!
1-13-16 The corridor connecting the current building with Phase 1 is in and renovations are being made to the two new classrooms created by splitting the current media center in two. Inside the new addition, the steel studs for the walls are up and electrical, HVAC, and plumbing is being put in. Exterior brick work continues.
12-28-15 The slab is now in and interior walls are being constructed. The corridor connecting the current building with Phase 1 (green in the picture) is being constructed. Work on the exterior brick continues and is on the North side of the building.
12-17-15 The roof is now complete with the exception of the rock ballast. Exterior brick work has started and plumbers and electricians are working on the area that will be covered by the floor slab that will be in next Wednesday. Work on the corridor connecting the addition to the current building will begin on 12-21-15.
11-19-15 Recent rain has slowed construction after a couple weeks of really nice weather helped workers make up some time. Steel roof trusses are currently being installed, which will be followed by completion of the roof decking and pouring the interior slab over the roughed in plumbing and electrical.
11-05-15 Progress on Phase 1 has been steady. Workers are in the process of installing the block walls that will be soon be covered by finish brick. The curb, gutter, and first lift of pavement for the new parking lot is in. Once the dirt is in place around the building, steel beams will be set on the roof and the roof will be constructed so the building can be enclosed before the weather gets too wintery.
